Below are some pictures of my trip from Victoria, BC to Uculet, BC in July 2002. We sailed on Mike and Fern Beatties Farr 30 "Farr Out". The trip took 4 days and was wonderful. Some day I'd like to go back and spend and entire summer sailing around Barkley Sound and the Broken Ilsands. Sort of like the Gulf Islands....minus the people.

One of the best things I have done is join the Catlina 27 and Pacific Northwest mailing lists (through www.sailnet.com). The past two February's I was lucky enough to sail to Port Townsend Washinton, first in 2004 with Glenn Driscoll on his beautiful Choy Lee 33 "Herralee", and this year (2005) with Jack and Judi on their Lancer 36 "Majendie". What a great group!

Sometimes I'm told
I'm too hard on my crew. Either that or they've had too much wine, eh Judi?
